Constitution

1. The Commencement date for this Constitution shall be 1 March 1994 or any later date determined by a resolution of the Company.
2. The Company shall consist of the body of Freemen, from whom shall be elected a Master. Senior Warden, Junior Warden and Assistants all as prescribed in the Schedule of Ordinances.
3. The Master, Wardens, Assistants and Freemen in position at the Commencement Date shall continue in office until replaced by elections held according to the rules contained in the Ordinances and Standing Orders of the Company.
4. The affairs of the Company shall be managed by the Court of Assistants (hereinafter called the Court) which shall consist of the Master, Senior Warden, Junior Warden, eligible Past Masters and Assistants as prescribed in the Schedule of Ordinances. Powers to amend the Constitution, Ordinances and Standing Orders of the Company are reserved to the Court.
5. The Company shall hold an Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting, acting on the recommendation of the Court, shall have the power to amend the Objects of the Company.
