Ladies Fund-Raising Lunch

The sixth in a series of fund raising Ladies Lunches was held at the Wakeman College, English Bridge , Shrewsbury on Friday October 30 when 120 ladies enjoyed an excellent lunch followed by an entertaining and informative speech by Mr David Stacey , High Sherriff of Shropshire who spoke about the activities of his position.
Over £1,400 was raised on the day thanks to the generosity of those attending and to local businesses who donated prizes to be raffled
The Shrewsbury Drapers Company wishes to thank the College Principal Martin Ward for the use of the venue, his staff for all their help in arranging the event and to members of the company for their support.
