Events

Almost forty exhibits were entered this year displaying a wide range of designs which fully demonstrated the skills of all entrants. Judging took place on Monday September 21 and awards were given out at a ceremony held at St Mary’s Church, Shrewsbury on Tuesday September 22^nd attended by the High Sherriff of Shropshire David Stacey and the Mayor of Shrewsbury  Miles Kenny. Judging was carried out by Howard Franklin, Alison Phillips and Gaynor Bowen to whom thanks are due as well as to Mary Rose Bone , Chair of the Drapers Textile Design Committee and the members of her committee for all their hard work in arranging the competition.
