Events

The 2016 Shrewsbury Drapers Young Textile Design Competition was declared a great success at the awards ceremony on the 7th of June at St. Marys. More than 50 entries, from Key Stage 3 & 4 students, from 7 schools were entered. Contestants, teachers and parents were at the ceremony, where the Master-Gordon Crofts presented prizes and certificates and the judges gave feedback on all entries. The High Sheriff-Christine Holmes congratulated all the students on the high quality of their designs and workpieces.
