The charitable work of the Drapers has been continuous since 1444 when they established almshouses for ”widows and spinsters” who received money, fuel and clothing from the Drapers Company. Today, we offer quality social housing for older people who enjoy living in a community where their needs are understood, but who are able to maintain their independence.
